A Motorcycle Restoration From Start to Finish
I found this beat up bike in Toronto in mid-July 2011. It was pretty dirty. The previous owner had ridden it down from Halifax in 2009 and it had sat in a laneway, exposed to the elements, since.
This 1976 Honda CB750F was rough, but it was complete. The young guy I bought it from claimed it had started only two weeks prior. I figured I would risk the $600 and pick it up. I had done some homework and found plenty of resources on the internet regarding CB750 rebuilds, mods and restorations. I was satisfied that this was the right bike for my first restoration.
This website was created to document a complete restoration, including the methods used, and the costs involved in a project like this. There will also be links to resources for those of you also looking to do some work on a Honda CB750.
Check in often as I will be updating my Blog regularly with my progress.
